Welcome to Freemasons at Wiswell
Freemasons at Wiswell continues to feature the best produce available at its seasonal best, but with a subtle tribute some British pub classics - all with our distinct interpretation, of course! Take our Chicken Maryland, for example. The dish has been on a journey from the Deep South of America, to inclusion in Escoffier’s Ma Cuisine book and now finds itself rooted in Wiswell folklore! Expect a weekend featuring the Best of British for the Jubilee - with a special menu on Monday followed by the second Chippy Tea of the year on Tues, June 5th. Father's Day on June 17th is another key date for the diary.
On Thursdays there will be a focus on fish, with three special catch of the day dishes available, always allowing the flavours of the fish to take centre stage. Last year we retained the Michelin Bib Gourmand for the second year running and it’s great to know that the excellent value-for-money provided by our Seasonal Menu, served at Lunch and Early Supper, is still recognised. It's also the perfect showcase for our new seasonal spring dishes - cauliflower, parsnips, rhubarb and hazelnut all taking centre stage at this wonderful time of year. Our Sunday Lunch aged beef is another dish not to be missed.
